Would you marry a woman who wants to hyphenate her last name with yours?

Women that do that are almost guaranteed to be more of a pain in the arse than they are worth.

I can't blame any woman for wanting to keep her name and all, but it's not for me.

She can keep her own or take mine. I couldn't be married to someone who inconvenienced everyone by making their name harder/longer to spell than it needed to be.

shite is aggravating. Have some damn courtesy.

The level to which a man cares about this kind of thing is inversely proportionate to the size of his hog.

Mine did, but we got married in our 40s and she is very established in her field.

I wouldn't marry period unless she is mega rich and there is no prenup.

I am dating and have no intentions of marrying,

Ever. No way I jeopardize my future over some pussy that has been plowed by every farmer in Louisiana.

Of course...I don't see the problem. My wife kept her last name. She was an established professional and I never thought about asking her to change her name.

11% of the general female public has a whomp-eye, or some variation of the crazy eyes. 38.5% of hyphenated-name women have the same affliction. Having the hyphenated name does not guarantee they will develop a whomp-eye but the odds go up about 350%.

Good luck.
