That's why I live in Scottsdale

You spend time there(in Scottsdale)? Hard to find any negatives in the place.

I was just giving you a hard time.

I like Scottsdale, spent a weekend there in the old town area last year and going back for a wedding next weekend.

Have a good trip! Weather is nice right now, perfect for Spring training games ....hope you can catch a game while you are there. So much fun.

Thanks. We were thinking about going to a spring training game on Sunday, but neither of us are baseball fans so it's still up in the air.

Have you been to citizen public house? Was looking at that for dinner one night.

We haven't tried it yet but have heard good things. The Mission is amazing if you haven't been there before. It's in Old Town as well.

As for the games....I'm not a huge baseball fan either.....but always have fun at the games. Look online....depending on the game and what location you can usually find tickets. Lawn seats are nice cause you can just bring a blanket and sit in the grass and just stretch out, watch the game, and sip on something cold.

Phoenix is the least interesting place out West. Not sure if it has any perks besides proximity to beautiful places.

This is true. Live in Scottsdale. Day trips every weekend.

Although there is usually a lot going on in Phoenix with cultural events etc.

Anything I miss besides good BBQ is college football fever. Fake fans out here. When ND played ASU 2 years ago, it was a top 10 matchup and wasn't close to selling out.

Same about being drawn to the West. I'd easily move to California and stay forever.

Goodness that's a depressing way of thinking.

Also, I don't really get the people who say that they would move and return to the south. I mean obviously if a better paying job or something came up. That would cause me to think about it. But I wouldn't just up and return here.

Grew up in S.LA. and gave stayed in state for schools.

I have stayed in Illinois for a few months at basic.

Traveled out west to several states, NM, UT, WY, SD, OK.

To say the last I'm good here. I enjoy the heat very much over cold weather. Enjoy saltwater fishing and duck hunting. Enjoy the low cost of living. Enjoy the women especially over some of the several skeletor-like snotty bitches that an old acquaintance has brought down here from Boston. Not to say they don't have some down here. I guess I like this backwards shite hole.

Amazing outdoors that humans are meant to live in, and less humidity. Hell yes!

I'd love to live in Cali, southern Utah, Idaho, or in the Pacific Northwest.
