When something is so dumb, Gaucho's posts about it just make sense.

Richest man I know drives exotic cars, has big arse boats and lives in multiple very large homes.
That said, his wardrobe has plenty of casual clothes but when needed he sports tailored formal wear.
The Sam Walton schtick is horseshite

Why would you protect the people at the table from each other? They probably came together. You should be protecting them from other tables.

Social distance from your date?

Absolutely, I wouldn't have to hear my wife yapping the entire time.

Behold the Micrashell, a Wild Hazmat Suit Designed for Clubbing During COVID-19
Our likely business model is for venues or promoters to own the suits and rent them out on a per-show basis [rather than] users buying them. The idea is for corporations, venues and entertainment groups to absorb the costs of the Micrashell and provide them to consumers when they gather in groups for events, which will also help with ensuring proper sterilization.

Even if....the ultimate deal breaker would be that I wouldn't trust the lowest paid worker to have properly sanitized the plastic from whatever person spent an hour or so breathing in it...getting his cooties all over the thing.

If it was around my whole party at the table, I'd be fine with it. No need for it to be between the people I live with and me.
