Obviously not if he thinks $21K is reasonable for a 2015 4Runner

Being completely serious, if you have better options for a used SUV for around $25k I would love to hear them. I'm just starting my search.

Buying a 10 year old mid sized SUV with 135k miles for 21k seems absolutely insane to me

bit of a toyota markup.

the seller is waay over on the price tho. knock that down $4-5k and it would be a very reliable mid size for the next decade.

I need the ability to tow every once on a while. Don't really need the bed of a truck anymore though.

4 runners are high, high, high. They can’t get the 2025’s yet or many of them because of manufacturing flaw. That’s mean the existing ones are going off the market fast. It’s sellers market the salesman told me.

Just bought a 2016 with 103k for 21k. I would go for it. If you don't someone else will buy it quickly. They stopped making them and the new ones are coming into the ports now.

That’s a bit too many miles imho

We got our youngest a 2014 with 79k miles for $24k. Meticulous service records was icing.

Meh...

Too high, too many miles...

If no paintwork, one-owner, excellent tires; $17K

This part sounds good...

Listed at $21k.

This part does not sound good.

Extremely well taken care of.

Verify frame condition (5th gens didn't have the problem the 4th gens did...but you should still verify).

I really want a new boat, but the price ranges are insane. People are selling 20 yr old bass boats for what they originally paid for the boat.

Um no. 2024 is the last year. They are going for over $40k so it would not be a little more but double. Maybe you can post a 2023 for a little more. I promise you won't find one. Alot of misinfo here.

I'm thinking about making a move as well. I have a 2008 4Runner with 230k that has served me well but the paint is terrible and I have a leaking rear axle. I can't bring myself to paint it or make a $1k repair on a $6k vehicle....so I just keep rolling
