This once happened to me at Twin Peaks, of all places. I ordered the Hangover burger with just egg and cheese...and by damn, that's exactly what I got, a bun with egg and cheese.
I ate it, as it wasn't a bad breakfast sammich. But lesson learned. You have to be specific with people for the simple reason you just don't know how bright or dim the individual you're dealing with is.

Guaranteed that more than one person ordered that the same way you did, and meant exactly what you got.
Learn the proper way to order, because after getting burned too many times with stupid orders, the kitchen just starts making exactly what's on the ticket.
Also, quit special ordering.

Did y'all know that McDonalds in LaPlace has $1.19 HotnSpicy McChicken Biscuits. This is NOT their regular chicken sammich that's over $3 with real chicken. This is awesome spicy cheap chicken.
I hijacked b/c I get them to add cheese to mine in the morning. Best $1.60 you'll spend on breakfast.
Can't get that on Essen Lane.

I had a similar incident at Taco Bell. I ordered a chicken chalupa with just lettuce and cheese and that is exactly what they gave me with no chicken.
