I have a few to list, but I'll preface it by saying I've been able to find a way to enjoy pretty much any place I've been to, so this is the list of places where it was a bit harder to do so.
1. Burlington, IA - Had to take a Cessna to get there. Not shite to do and I remember when I went the year the Buffalo Wild Wings opened and it was a historic occasion apparently. However, we stayed at a casino that was actually very nice.
2. Wichita, KS- not a lot happening but a few decent bars made it fine.
3. Dublin, CA - 90 minutes east of SF. Hot as frick and pretty boring.
4. Fredericton, New Brunswick - a lovely little town but hard as hell to get to and pretty boring.
5. Lubbock - mehhhhhhhh

Ferriday. Assigned there for a summer when I was in school. It was a volunteer thing and I had no choice where I was sent, so guess I crapped out on that one.

Hammond
Working at a fab shop when I was a young man. I was low man on the totem pole and was put on permanent jobs nobody wanted like grinding and hovering above a paint tank breathing paint fumes and hanging shite on J hooks, and if I got dizzy and hit the kill switch on the conveyor to catch up or was light headed, I caught 10 kinds of hell for it by everyone on the line. And all for 3 bucks an hour. Woo Hoo…. The upside is it gave me real motivation to avoid the kind of work I know I didn’t want to do in life.

I’ve heard their meth is blue?! My sister-in-law lives here and works at the University.
My worse work place personally, Venice, La.

I worked for a plumbing company that had a deal to replace the plumbing in a prison shower. They couldn't stop using it so we had to burrow under it. I lasted 3 days.

Odessa, Texas. Spent a week there in the 90s.
Country-Western karaoke at the Radisson was fun though.

Rapid City, South Dakota. Winter lasted eight hellish months, snow up to the windows of our home. It was 80 below a few times. Three long miserable years spent there.
