I would say music snob. Barrier to entry is low so you get all sorts of pedestrians that think somehow knowing some obscure music makes them more upperclass. It doesn’t.

Religion snobs
Well, Father So-and-so came over for dinner last night.
You're doing ACTS? That's cute. I'm helping host the ACTS retreat
We're doing adoration
You went to church Saturday afternoon? Well I went to mass three times this week, did two chapels, and participated in 7 rosaries.
My last three international trips have been to Majegorie (Spelling?), Lordes, and Jerusalem.
I hate Hedonistic(Food, Booze, Sex) and Materialistic(Trucks,House, Guns) snobs just as much as the next guy. But the religious snobs grind my gears.

Organic snobs.
They’ve let their snobbery grow from food to all household goods.

It just came to me.
The worst kind of snob is the religious or philosophical snob.

I've had the pleasure to be around trust fund snobs. They are all the snobs listed in this thread rolled into one giant pile of shite plus they lack empathy and self awareness.

Guy Fieri built his brand on people like you, though. He's the anti-Michelin star guy. He loves to highlight good cooks who make interesting, fun food for the masses.
I used to think he was a massive tool. Then I started actually listening to him, and he's a pretty damn good guy.
Meh I've been to a number of his suggestions that are strictly average or boring. He endorseed The Shed in Pascagoula and that place sucks big time.
Also don't conflate "anti-Michelin star" with "I only eat low brow food". I just don't like the Michelin grading system. A lot of it focuses on presentation, excessive service, etc... I rather enjoy nice restaurants, but I prefer substance over form to an extent.

Sure they are. Both are a grading system. One is very high end, one is very blue collar. But when you think about it, both tend to miss the mark of "is the food good" and focus on other things like "how cool are the decorations" and "is the service impeccable".
I don't care so much about price as I care about good food for the value. I also think that its foolish to gauge a restaurant based on DDD or M* reviews because they don't review the right things.

But are people who go places that Fieri recommends, snobs?

Fair question. But what is a snob? Does snobbery have to be high end/expensive?
I think that "snobs" are often people who are something like "brand whores". Maybe someone who buys a Rolex or Mercedes without understanding the brand values. They might be more interested in the cachet that comes with the brand (and their peers approval) than, say, Mercedes record at in endurance racing or history of longevity.
Similarly, Guy Fieri aficionados might say "I only eat at places on DDD" regardless of whether its any good, and regardless of the restaurant's history. I personally have been to a number of places he recommended that either outright suck or are strictly average.
I think blind allegiance to any system or brand is foolish, regardless of socio-economic class. Call it being a snob, brand whoring, whatever you want. It's the same idea.
