MY EX-wife didn't work. She took our daughter to kindergarten in the morning and picked her up in the afternoon. One day, she told me that she didn't have any "me time". Did I mention she's my EX-wife?

I am so glad that my wife is able to cook good meals and generally keeps everything clean, we both do. Some of these women who don't clean or cook are severely misguided if they think that it shows independence. It is also a huge turnoff if a woman can't cook a good meal and can not be a clean person.

I have a close friend whose wife doesn't work, and she has a complete metldown if she doesn't get her 2 hour afternoon nap every day.

She does at least keep a spotless house and has dinner ready for him every night. But man, I've been around one night when she didn't get her nap and it was not pleasant.

For sure. It's more about her reaction and her behavior when she doesn't get her nap.

You can say the same about men. A man who can’t take care of himself isn’t a man.

Amen. A man who prides himself on simply going to work and coming home to wait on a meal is a simple man. And no, mowing your grass doesn’t count. And being able to grill a steak to medium well doesn’t count. Learn a fricking skill, you’re better than just clocking in and out and expecting to be taken care of in all other aspects of life. What if your wife dies? Just eat ramen for the rest of your life? Gonna live in filth because there’s no woman to clean up after you?

Sloppy, lazy baws like this are a part of the problem.

A friend and I had this same discussion the other day about how if our moms passed away before our dads that the dads couldn't take care of themselves.

Other than coordinating when and where the kids need to be for school and sports, I'd be just fine on my own.

But it's a woman's job to do that shite. I'm a man and come home, emotionally neglect my children, then drink myself to sleep watching Johnny Carson.

This is dumb. How can you be bad at cleaning? You must be a dirty motherfricker. Do you not clean yourself? Or does you wife have to wipe your arse for you?
