A lot of women NEED a wedding, want a marriage, but don’t really love the man they’re with, so they try to rush straight to the trappings of a successful relationship without building one and truly falling in love first. This is the reddest of flags. Women like this will dump you and divorce you at the first sign of inconvenience in your marriage assuming they’re not the first in their friend group to do so.

It’s seems like all of this is a common denominator in BR. It gets even more catty between groups of females when kids start getting popped out. Then the jealousy really ensues.

This should be your decision and how to do it.

Please video it and post a link for us to watch the disappointment on her face. She thinks she's gonna get a fairytale proposal.

You're doing it wrong if you don't at least get a sense of the style she likes. No need to let her go and actually pick it, but I'd think someone with your "unique" tastes would understand

If she legit insists on planning out an engagement, which traditionally should be a private moment between the couple, I'd let her make all her plans. Then propose the day before the planned engagement.

Stupid. My fiancé planned our engagement, and it was incredibly special. Why would she not want that?

Idk I plan on making it work. We have the funds it’s just the up front work. If you look at Instagram there are like thousands. JetBlue is having a sale right now to some random locations so may just fly her out if I find a nice area

I completely surprised my wife in this hidden cave outside of Santa Cruz.

Worst case scenario:
If she is more concerned about the moment and ring than the man, she is a materialistic whore and will cheat on you/leave you and take half your income in the future. You will see your kids every other weekend and have to deal with some dude named Ronnie teaching him incorrectly how to throw a football.

Best case scenario:
She is a control freak and will tell you when to piss, when to shite, and most importantly when to cum.

Either way: Run and find a more down to earth, less crazy girl in a more desirable spot on the crazy/hot matrix.

Sounds controlling and demanding. GTFO, seriously.

Apparently you got divorced 2 years ago and now are getting engaged to a control freak? Are you trying to frick up your life? Do you NEED to be with someone? Damm.

Cut him some slack, he’s doing his best. It being a woman is at least a step in the right direction for an Aggie.

With social media, It’s all about the content. Try negotiating a private “planned” engagement, lol.

Just learned this last month when buddy's daughter got engaged. It is no longer a "pop the question" type affair. It is meticulously planned with a bunch of friends and a professional photographer present in a setting carefully selected for max IG clout.

You better let her handle this.

Be a man - You and only you control the timing of the proposal. Let her plan the wedding

Ask her what she wants and then use that info to plan it yourself. But if she fights you on that and truly wants to plan it herself, then let her. Just do whatever makes her happiest.
