How the hell does this continue to happen and how does Carnival continue to be able to operate? WTF is going on?

The Coast Guard is searching for a woman who reportedly fell overboard Wednesday from the Carnival Ecstasy cruise ship approximately 27 miles southwest of Freeport, Bahamas

32-year-old woman was reportedly seen falling overboard at approximately 2:30 a.m. Wednesday from the 11th deck wearing a white dress with a pink floral design.

Several reports are coming out now that witnesses saw her jump

When a person falls off a cruise ship, the last entity I'm looking to blame is the cruise line.

What do want them to do? Install 10 foot high walls around every deck? Install netting that extends 20 feet out from every deck?

Carnival's ability to stay in business is a mystery, but not because of people falling off

It's quite difficult to "fall" over unless you are standing or sitting on top of a railing. Just about every instance like this has been proven to be a guest jumping or climbing over something they shouldn't.

Carnival just offered me a 5 day cruise over Thanksgiving for $200 for the two of us and $100 on board credit. I don't mind the trash for that price. I find it entertaining.

I can't see how they wouldn't have cameras all over that thing to catch these incidents. If for no other reason than to show that the people brought it on themselves by climbing the rail.
