Back of the boat. If this dude fell he would likely end up at the buffet/hot tubs below or on someones balcony.

most ships now have infrared overboard detection systems. they know when you get overboard but it takes time to react, stop the ship etc. By the time all this happens, you gone.

Ships I have been on, we used deck 3 IIRC. Norwegian and Princess.

3 is common but for some ports with tenders, you debark further down. The lower decks are for staff. Belize is one of these ports.
I agree with you either way, but the difference of injuries when falling from 80' and falling from 90' is minor.

I get it. He is on a rail 3' from the outer rail on the back of the boat. This thread is about falling over, which is why I said he would fall 1-2 decks down to either a buffet or a balcony.
