Gen X used to do that as a challenge and game … you either score or get laughed at by your buddies. This started in high school, developed in college and perfected in your 20s.
Young Squatch would’ve gotten shot down by her at the first, earliest opportunity. Or..avoided her completely and talked to her buddy that wasn’t used to getting attention. That would drive her crazy and her buddy would love it.
But that’s an advanced move…
