You must know the lake then... It can be rough as shite on one shore, and calm on the other.. Depending on the winds..

I think this happened during the day. The helicopter was up circling yesterday afternoon around 6pm when I was running by the lakefront.

That's kind of been what we've been told our whole lives. The heavy winds combined with the lake being relatively shallow has sunk many boats.

I have not heard anything so far today, but I'm on PST, so just getting going. My sister is pretty distraught over this, as they have been best friends since 3rd or 4th grade. If I find anything out, I will let y'all know.

or that the incident happened anywhere close to where the boat and mariner were found, i think she is far away from that point

I saw on the local news last night the gym she works at was holding a vigil for her..they showed her pic and she appears to be a very attractive girl. Very sad situation..
