I know people here who do not know Memphis love to say things about Memphis, but she was abducted in an extremely unlikely location.
You’re right. We take it all back. Memphis is a Utopia.
I’m sure the young lady and her family agree.

Where you see this?
All I can find is police took some things from their home and a white SUV. No idea if it’s her husband’s or hers

Real actual kidnappings don't happen near as often in the USA as the do in Mexico and Central and South America. I have always wondered with so many illegals with ties to cartels and such coming here when will that activity get more widespread.

He didn’t say Memphis us a utopia. He said she was not in a bad area of Memphis because she wasn’t.

Given she has run early in the morning there for years, yes she would probably agree it was unlikely she’d be kidnapped on her morning run

A good part of Jackson, Ms is still bad. Wake up. Memphis is a shithole.

I’m from Memphis. I’m very aware of what the city is like. But no, the entirety of the city is not a dangerous shithole. But if it makes you feel better to say it, knock yourself out.

NEVER get into the car. If you get in the car, you're going to die a horrible death anyway, so you're better off taking your chances running.
Hope they catch the perp soon.

You’re from Memphis. I understand you’re prejudiced.

I don’t know if the husband was involved but a woman shouldn’t be jogging at 4 a.m. in the morning by herself, no matter what part of the country she lived in. Follow the same routes day after day and it’s a recipe for disaster.

If they were demanding ransom, the police wouldn’t be broadcasting that to the public

I know her personally. She was a soccer player at Memphis while I was a tennis ayer(I played there freshman year before transferring to lsu)
She was one of the nicest peoples possible. She was so full of energy and the type that never saw bad in anything. She was also a fitness junkie and a teacher, so she jogged early in the morning before work. So I could see how this could happen to her. Just absolutely horrific situation

maybe the whole thing was staged so she could run away with a lover like Sherri Papini did.
This is pretty common, evidently.

Absolutely
But even being a decent sized guy I wouldn’t be jogging anywhere at 4:00 am ish
Just sayin’

Probably wasn't random.
Assuming it was "random," I find myself wondering how much more quickly DTL would be caught today vs when he was doin the same shite.

She was a legit marathon runner and a teacher. She also had kids. Not exactly easy to get her miles in. Not saying y’all are wrong about it being dangerous, but it’s sickening you don’t have the option to live your life in America anymore. It’s a ducking cesspool in this shithole now

This. 100%, especially considering the neighborhood and city she's in.
