Safe to say that around 30% of america would be okay with pretty much any amount of cruelty you can conceive of if they're told its being done to a person or group they don't like

Is there a video available from this view?
No idea, but that would be awesome if they did.

You can't see her eyes, but my guess is she's probably looking to her left at the agent at her side window. I think it's possible she tried to drive away from the side agent, didn't see the front agent initially, and the front agent interpreted it as life-threatening aggression when she floored it.
This is a good point. It doesn't really change anything, but it is a good point.

Personally, I'm not a fan of an authoritatively empowered overreaching government agency asserting itself recklessly without local consent and coordination in ways that directly spark tension in American communities... but that's the drama that your political leaders want to play out, so they can then reinforce their dishonest narratives. Speaking of which, tell me again where the video shows the officer getting "viciously ran over" and needing to recover in the hospital. Is it the video showing the guy walking up and down the street perfectly fine after he fired shots while next to the vehicle? Your dear leaders' statements don't match reality, bub.
As crazy as it is to say, you’re an outlier when it comes to this boards inhabitants.
As long as a lot of these psychos see it happen to a group they don’t like it’s fine.
It’s not that they are dishonest. They are lacking the ability to parse out the situation. They genuinely don’t understand where their logic fails.
It’s not even a question that this woman was murdered by the moral definition. Legally we will see. Morally, if this guy has a shred of decency (unlikely considering his occupation choice) he will see this woman’s face every day for the rest of his life and it will haunt him.
He will have to deal with that. He knows what he did.

well, here’s some recent poll data on that topic. New Marquette Law School National Survey Finds Large Majority Think Political Violence Is A Big Problem, But With Sharp Partisan Differences On Who Is To Blame
quote:
A majority of Americans, 58%, say it is always unacceptable for a person to be happy about the death of a public figure they oppose, with 29% saying this is usually unacceptable, 9% saying it is usually acceptable, and 4% saying it is always acceptable. Seventy-eight percent of Republicans say such happiness is always unacceptable, 49% of independents say it is always unacceptable, and 41% of Democrats say it is always unacceptable. The number of those likely to say pleasure over the death of a political opponent is always unacceptable rises with age, with people under 30 years old least likely to say pleasure over the death of a political opponent is always unacceptable, at 45%. The figure rises to 51% among those 30-44, 61% among those 45-59, and 69% for those 60 or older.
quote:
A very large majority, 89%, say violence is never justified in order to achieve political goals, and 11% say violence can sometimes be justified. A majority of each partisan group, age group, and ideological group also say violence is never justified. The minority view, that violence can sometimes be justified, is larger among Democrats (15%) than among Republicans (6%); among those under 30 years old (14%) than among those 60 or older (5%); and among those who describe themselves as very liberal (25%) than among those who say they are very conservative (10%).

I'm fine with deadly consequences for anyone that hits an LEO with their car, regardless of who the criminal is.

These two women thought they were gonna cosplay Girlz 'N the Hood on a Wednesday morning.
They had no idea what they got themselves into.
It looked a lot easier on the internet.
Stupid lady tried to chirp the tires and speed off for dramatic effect.
And it was the last decision she'd ever make.

That agent is as good as already convicted in that shite hole of a state, at least on state charges.

I too don’t think she meant to drive at an officer.
That being said her stupidity put her in the situation. She was harassing ICE all morning. Blocking officers and interfering. It’s a common thing these days. She was likely on some dem groups payroll for this. That's why her wife was recording.
ICE guys finally had enough of her shite and were trying to detain her and she then decided to flee. She panics and tries to gun it not realizing a ICE officer has a right there because she was focused on the guy at her window.
Either way it’s entirely on her.
ICE guy already had been hit by a car and I'm sure on edge. They all are with the constant bullshite they have to deal with from the left while on the job.

I am not going to pretend to be an attorney, but I read somewhere that the Supremacy Clause may provide protection. No clue if that is true.

Lady went out doing a front-wheel-peel in a Honda pilot with a Coexist sticker on the back.
Lady got conned into Thelma & Louise'ing her own arse.
You gotta wonder what the partner doing right now.
Maybe at home sipping some lavender tea. We just dont' know.

except she didn't go straight she turned the wheels all the way to the right avoiding him altogether. just forgot that part?
Only after she started going forward. The wheel spun with wheels basically going straight ahead before she began to turn them.
Did she cut the wheel because she saw the officer drawing his gun, or did she not initially realize he was there and was trying to avoid? She seemed to keep accelerating even before she would have been shot.
It doesn’t affect this being justified, but the later would at least remove her attempting to intentionally harm an officer.
It’s is likely the wife/gf has a video of exactly what was being said, and it’s possible that the officer who shot her likely has video of it up until the car went into drive and she hit the gas pedal as that’s when he started to draw his gun.

You say all of this…
This then say this:

What does him being in LE have anything to do with his morals?
If you’re going to talk about one’s morals, you have to talk about the other’s.

That’s fine. But safe to say it’s also fine to say you’re an evil piece of shite.

I think federal law requires DOJ to handle any investigations of federal officer shootings in the line of duty.
