Woman cries racism against cops, dashcam exposes her lies

In her column for the Dallas Morning News, she said the cops had 'flashing lights' and 'sirens' as they approached her.
But on the video released sirens can not be heard

It is definitely an upscale neighborhood...you can see how wide the sidewalks are that she decided to avoid while walking in the road. If they thought black lives didn't matter, they would have let her get run over.

So did the woman truly believe there were flashing lights and sirens when she stopped to talk with them or did she just make it up? Scenario 1, she crazy. Scenario 2, she done fricked up big time

I often understand the perspective of cops in these situations and I loathe the Black Lives Matter campaign for it's dishonesty and divisiveness, but after watching the video, I think the cops, while technically not wrong, did not use discretion properly.
It was unnecessary to roll the lights in that situation, and it was unnecessary to ask for the lady's ID and address. Maybe the cop was still new and he had a training officer with him, so he was trying to go "by the book". But cops may forget how intimidating their presence can be, especially when two officers triangulate on you and the lights are rolling.
I didn't see her obstruct anyone. They could have presented themselves in a much less intimidating fashion if all they wanted to do was caution her to use the other side of the street.
The professors exaggeration about the siren was wrong, but her feeling like she was being harassed is not unfounded. If that was my mom walking down our suburban neighborhood street for her morning exercise, I'd be pissed that the cops acted in that manner.
