I'm trying to understand how the OSHA debate taking place in the SCOTUS in a few hours isn't completely shut down by Wolensky's admission from Monday when she said that Covid-19 vaccines are no longer effective at preventing transmission of the virus.
The debate will be along the lines of "it was effective against past variants and will likely be effective against other future variants". Sotomayer's dumb arse will nod ignorantly like a bobbing bird toy.
The big question is what will the other Justices think of this.

The vaccine itself doesn’t GAF either

I’ve heard there on the internet, the grand plan is to recognize a total 16 variants of concern to ensure the most fear to drive people to take the clot shots.
Maybe it will be helpful against the next 10-11 variants of concern in their batting order.

I thought he and Smith ran a good steakhouse.
Interesting that he made such a drastic career change.

Wolensky's admission from Monday when she said that Covid-19 vaccines are no longer effective at preventing transmission of the virus.
This was in the news cycle on again on Monday, but Walensky orginally admitted this back in July when they gathered the data on outbreak in MA where 75% of positive cases were vaccinated.

The discrimination and the the coercion should have ended once they made this admission.
But the unvaccinated are just too easy of a target in which to direct blame. That seed was planted by this administration and has successfully divided the population. It takes some of the heat off of them for the utter failure of this pandemic response.

Could have just stopped right here.

There is nothing to understand, save this:
The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule

"If you've had the jabs then you should be perfectly fine knowing that your symptoms will supposedly be less and you should stop trying to control other people that are willing to put up with the full blown symptoms."
You make a good argument against forced vaccination for those with low risk of being hospitalized ( the young, lack of comorbidity, non obese, etc). However, you are being disingenuous when you grossly understate the value of vaccination which markedly reduces risk of severe illness and death. As a physician of nearly 4 decades, I strongly recommend vaccination in people over 60 or who have significant comorbiditiy. Preventing severe illness and death is a strong indication for vaccination when assessing risk:benefit of therapy in medicine. That is a win win in medicine.

I don't think you'll find anyone here that disagrees with this. But that's not the issue at hand.
The issue at hand is being forced to take the vaccine, regardless of your risk, via government fiat.
Comply, or you will be made to comply.

Normally you’d be correct but common sense and facts no longer apply to anything

Funny you say this. Me and a good friend both caught covid at a Christmas Eve party. I’m not vaxxed. He has had both shots and booster. I was negative by New Years Eve. He is still working from home because he tested positive Sunday. 2 weeks he has been positive even though no symptoms
So you’re not correct

I don't think you'll find anyone here that disagrees with this
However, due to tribal nature the main argument and point of contention has now become simply attacking the vaccine from all angles and posting every story from a grandmothers Facebook as possible
Hell best example of this is the Poltical Talk posters(who flood this board) are furious Trump is simply suggesting people get the vaccine on their own accord

SCOTUS has been bought and paid for. This was never about controlling the virus but controlling the people.
Wolensky’s statement will be ignored and the court will uphold the mandate.

Wolensky is a political operative, not a medical health professional.
I’m surprised that she delivered a message that strayed from the narrative.

I believe the OSHA-enforced mandate should be thrown out. But I also know what the argument/debate will be from the other side.
Just as proper fall protection is intended to prevent self-harm, so too will the vaccines. That is, there is strong data that the vaccines provide more positive outcomes for those who are vaccinated and become infected with Covid-19.
I don't particularly like it, but if you are curious what argument will not be destroyed by the CDC's admission, this is it.

If they do, this country is finished. Because it will mean separation of powers, and really rule of law as we know it in this country, is dead.
The President at that point is in fact a pure dictator, with a rubber stamp supreme court and a legislature that refuses to do its job.
