Good news from recent study in California. Yay, finally data from US on omicron vs delta. One month data with approx 55,000 Omicron patients and 15,000 Delta patients. Risk of hospitalization, icu stay, ventilator requirement, death far less with omicron vs delta. Only 1 omicron death and 20 something delta deaths. Findings between two groups were irrespective of previous infection and vaccination status.
