naw man. once that research (during the Obama admin) came out about how to change political opinions (this was focused on gay marriage at the time), things changed. then Trump came out of nowhere and they FREAKED out about this method (which is basically just, well, talking with people and sharing experiences making things more personal and opposition less likely), so to combat it, their new strategy was: never let them speak. that's why cancel culture has become such a big deal. you have to silence opposition before they appear too personable and possibly make people become less extreme.

Eugenics is a fact. And it works.
Its a tool. There is no moral claim.
Its such a juicy subject for those reasons because pea-brains cant separate the different parts of the debate.

Can I get a summary of some specific claims from actual people in the field? I have literally no idea what is going on, and I'm tangentially related to the field. That context you provided is not of academic quality, unfortunately. He says some spurious things in an attempt to settle debates, but doesn't dive into why, for example, the estimates of transgender people are higher than the strict prevalence of Disorders of Sex Development.
