WNBA players ready to make a new CBA

My question is:
How exactly do you negotiate with the league when it produced a loss of $40 million last year? What cards and negotiating tools are you bringing to the table?

This is an article from 2017. At the time ESPN had a segment on this on one of their shows. They only talked about it for a few minutes, but they pretty much shamed this woman for saying what she did. Because you can't have a gay movement and someone saying a bunch of gay women bully straight players.
This is why it will never be as successful as they want it to be. They want it all, but don't like when the attention is on someone "not in the club". And its a bunch of women. God forbid if someone other than themselves get the attention the league needs.

It’s more basic than that. The fundamental problem for the WNBA is that nobody cares about women’s basketball. Nobody ever will care. It’s just a product nobody will ever want. Women’s college basketball can do ok at the major programs if the team is winning and that’s bc people are fans of the school.
