Local Tampa ABC has aboot 1/3 of their stories on it. They do not call it the Parental rights bill, it's name. They call it don't say gay, and paint anybody that is for it as evil. They are quite excited that the groomers have said they will challenge it in court.

Here’s the thing, he can say he and his partner went skiing. He and his partner went here or there. Hell, he can even say husband, but if a young kid wants to go in depth about the nature of relationship he has with another man, that’s off limits.
But to your point, my teachers didn’t exist outside of school. I knew NONE of my elementary school teachers lives. It wasn’t until highschool and we were trying to frick off and distract the teacher from actually teaching that we would bring up their lives.
Students are not your friends. They are not your kids. They are students there to learn the subject. Period.

The bill doesn’t specifically single out either, but simply mentions “ sexual orientation.” The biggest problem with the bill is the vagueness of it. The way it is written, it would outlaw straight teachers from talking about their spouse of the opposite sex. Do you think any parents will complain or report straight teachers that do that? What about a gay teacher? That is one reason it has been labeled the “ don’t say gay “ bill. It’s a criticism of the likely disproportionate application of the law, because if the law actually had some form of “don’t say gay” in it, it’d be almost immediately ruled discriminatory and thrown out.

It’s a classic case of trying to will something into existence. They are mad at Disney for whatever reason so they pretend and convince others to pretend that Disney is “struggling” when they are, in reality, continuing to dominate entertainment.

So if it doesn’t have any mention of any particular sexuality, but simply bans all sexuality discussion with K-3 children, all the resistance to it is simply fear mongering and virtue signaling.

I don't know if Disney is getting killed, but I do know they aren't getting my money. We used to visit regularly, but the parks have become trash and I don't support their agenda. We canceled a trip in June (planned a long time ago with friends) and Disney+. I am sure someone was lined up to take my reservation, but I feel better.
