quote:This is a lie. Teachers can talk about their significant others all they want as long as it doesn’t include something sexual. For instance, no one is stopping teachers from lessons and discussions about vacations which is common in the classroom and many teachers utilize the experience for some lesson. If a female teacher said something like “My wife and I spent our spring break visiting the Grand Canyon. Who else took a trip last week and can you tell us about it?” That breaks no laws.
The way it is written, it would outlaw straight teachers from talking about their spouse of the opposite sex.

Once that’s over, it won’t be pretty.
This is an opinion.

Wall Street analysts know this. 2023 isn’t looking good for the Mouse.
Disney stock is rated as a strong Buy by pretty much every Wall Street analyst. I haven't seen a single Sell or Underperform recommendation for months now. So no.
And to be clear, I'm not arguing the bill in either way. But in my experience:
1) People who make accusations such as others being "groomers" are often self projecting.
2) Disney as a company isn't going anywhere financially. And the Go Woke, Go Broke saying is oversold.

It’s down nearly 30% over the last 6 months. I already mentioned the post Covid bump that’s taking place and the EPS is going to reflect that. Targets for the end of 2022 have it as high as it was 6 months ago putting it (at best) where it was year over year. I was speaking about 2023 when the 50th anniversary is over and people have completed their rescheduled bookings. It’ll be interesting to see how Dr Strange and Thor do at the box office. Like I said, the MCU is what still seems to have a strong future. The analyst game that you see published means very little. Wall St is about what you do not what you say. The same people calling it a buy are selling. Weird right?

The bill doesn’t specifically single out either, but simply mentions “ sexual orientation.” The biggest problem with the bill is the vagueness of it. The way it is written, it would outlaw straight teachers from talking about their spouse of the opposite sex. Do you think any parents will complain or report straight teachers that do that? What about a gay teacher? That is one reason it has been labeled the “ don’t say gay “ bill. It’s a criticism of the likely disproportionate application of the law, because if the law actually had some form of “don’t say gay” in it, it’d be almost immediately ruled discriminatory and thrown out.
so you still haven’t read the bill have you?

It seems like he may have and can’t find anything actually wrong with it so he has to make up scenarios that he feels like will happen disproportionately to some oppressed group.

seems like that would fall under Justin’s interest being he is a big Disney supporter.

You're going to have to explain why a random internet person you don't know is a pedophile because they don't hate something you do

Universal will make bank with Mario World opening up.

Not sure I’d want to mirror my online behavior after someone like her or use her actions as justification for my own… but that’s just me.

quote:Prohibiting teachers discussing issues pertaining to sex and gender identity with kindergarten to 3rd grade is hot button and doesn’t matter? The only reason it became “hot button” was because the dishonest media gave it a catchy nickname that made the bill seem to be something its not. Then the woke crowd ran with that without knowing what the bill actually said.
Focus hard on hot button issues that really don't matter
Even in backwards Louisiana, my kids school district doesn’t touch sex ed issues until junior high and the curriculum is available for parents to review ahead of time.

Focus hard on hot button issues that really don't matter, turn people against other people even though its of no consequence to themselves. Nothing to see there, just low-IQ shitty humans.

Like the ones who don’t know their genders and try to push it on children.

If the straight teacher is talking about sexual experiences absofrickinglutely
My post made no mention of sexual experiences. I would imagine most states and school districts already have laws/rules on the books forbidding that topic in elementary school. My post was about the sexual orientation part of the bill. Please try to pay attention.
