I went to a restaurant with my wife 1 week ago. A group sat down beside us and smelled HORRIBLY of weed. We had already ordered and were waiting on our food to be served. I told the waitress that I was leaving or they are leaving. They fricked around for about 15 minutes trying to figure out how they were going to handle it. So I handled it for them by telling them to box my shite up and I was taking it home and I was changing my tip to the take out rate that I tip at.

quote:So your saying that 2 or 3* oversized hoodies can really hold some smoke.
Because people come in and it’s not a little bit of weed smell, the entire area that person is in reeks of weed
* Optional unless it's dine and dash night.

i mean...i get it, however, seems like a bad business model. People who are high tend to eat the hell outta some pancakes and breakfast food...facts.
And then not leave a tip, you lose your waitresses, and then have close down.
You are fricking up other people's dining. Don't be an inconsiderate a-hole and there won't be a problem.
I'm literally smoking right now...outside.

I always wondered how anyone thinks that smelling like a skunk is a pleasant odor. Whatever happened to that good old sweet leaf smell?

Having spent plenty of 10-12 hr days in gas station parking lots for work, I’m almost convinced that damn near every single black male behind the wheel between the ages of 16 and 40 is high as frick.

How’s that? Asking for a friend…

But those are smoked outside instead of in the car on the way to get pancakes.
He's talking about some dude ripping one right before walking in to eat. That's bad, but I don't think it carries like weed does. I'm sick of that smell everywhere. That shite needs to go right meow.

How about, and hear Scruffy out, don’t smoke marijuana before going to this restaurant?
It’s really not hard. If you need to blaze up before dinner, re-evaluate your life quickly.

quote:A few years ago, me and the wife were in Vegas with reservation at a high end steak house. The kind of place that had $30K bottles of wine on the menu. I'm about to drop a minimum of $500 on a meal for two. I guess for sake of convenient, we were seated very near a large group of about ten at a table. They were extremely loud, drunk, and cussing like we were all at one of the many military bars I frequented while on active duty. After about 10 minutes, and realizing my nice, relaxing dinner was going to be filled with sound of loud nasal, Northern accents yelling at each other, I descreetly asked to be seated elsewhere. The staff did not hesitate, and from their reaction, it was apparent that they knew this was a problem and not surprised by my request.

The moral is, no one wants to spend their hard-earned money on meal at a place that makes them uncomfortable.

What kind of job do you have?
I agree that these idiots need to be treated as such.

This is far from a race issue.
Tons of people smoke weed, which is fine. What isn't fine is how people think it's acceptable to reek in public. And it goes beyond just trashy people. Like tons of people I thought who would be above acting trashy reek.

my wife says it's rampant. mostly skeevy caucasians. she has to get literally in their face at work. luckily has a mask on, but doesn't help.

I would support this initiative everywhere.

Seriously the restaurant is just running off potential tips for their servers
