About 40,000 Entergy customers out of power and climbing. Almost 14,000 of those are in EBR Parish.

Snowing its balls off again.

Some f250 driving cocksucker just put me into the trees backwards and drove off.
Prick.
If I wouldn't have had to pick my hubs to get out, this morning would have just gotten a lot more fun.

LSU has some stupid sense of pride/superiority about stuff like this. “Look at us, we’re open when everything else is closed”. It’s weird.
Yeah, I’ll never forget when they were closed like 4-5 days for Gustav. I didn’t have power for another 2 weeks.

Looking at Lake Charles radar out into the gulf, there's still a good plume of moisture behind this round of snow heading in toward the BR metro.
There's some high end 5"-7" potential here, but you know, that's the very high end.

Reminder that LSU is still opening at 10. They urge commuters to exercise caution driving through the slush.

Yup, got a final exam at 10:30. My car barely has traction when it’s sunny out. Going to be fun.

Dumbass question, but how long will food last in the fridge when power is out? I just dropped $250 at Walmart Wednesday night.

Glad my last one is tomorrow and not today. Though I did intend to go meet folks on campus.
I've got a little rear wheel drive truck that spins it's wheels with a little bit of rain on the road. I'd just drift all the way down Burbank.
Good luck on that law school final kingbob. You're too smart to not kill it.

Are any lawsuits feasible for forcing people to drive in this? If so, Gordon stacked LSU fuuuuuucked
