at age 80, I have been alive for 1/3 of the 250 years since the nation was born. I have gone from slide rule to chatgpt. Knowledge is no longer a deficiency, except no one understands the basic science behind the answer and thus can no longer choose the right answer.

We had the golden rule, Ten Commandments, Boy Scout oath, all forming our value system at school , church , work and play. Folks today are excited about the absence of value systems. Can't even define a women at the supreme court level.

Marketing is no longer concerned with selling goods/stuff. It's all about the magic pill, insurance, contributions to charities, safety, looks, words, games.


Values will come back some day, and it will be hard to accept
