Imma end up with an EV, just not yet. I drive in rural areas too much to want one now. Once there are more charging stations and the range gets a bit better I'll be all about it

I’d never pay that much for a vehicle.

Does it come with two steering wheels?

I have to drive from South Bend to Gulfport three or four times a year and back. Until these things can charge to full in 10 or 15 minutes at stops along the way it's just not viable at all for people like me.

They are not too proud to produce many of their products in Mexico. This let's me know they would prefer that Mexicans buy them.

Gonna buy a truck in 2022. I’ve thought about it. Was going to get a hybrid but what the hell? I put my 100 bucks down. Gonna get a Lightning. An oversized and over powered golf cart. I like it!

I’ll buy electric when I can get a 500-600 mile range and a 10 minute full charge across the country.
This is really the issue I have as well with all electric vehicles. This would actually be pretty good to take to the beach or other places in the outdoors because you do can use it as a generator. However, it’s ~100 miles one way to anywhere I would want to go, which with the round trip mileage and then using it for the power, it would need a full recharge at least once. With limited recharging stations and the limited battery life, technology is still a few years away. It will be interesting to see what gets developed to try and answer these questions in the future: better batteries, mobile solar powered chargers, quick charge stations, etc. All of this will happen, but I think these are all 10 years away from hitting the masses.

FORD F-150 LIGHTNING REVEALED: AN ELECTRIC TRUCK FOR THE MASSES
I’m not a part of some group called “The Masses”, and so no thanks on the whole 50k dollar lump of virtue signaling which will barely take me a third of the way to visit my family for the holidays before I have to get another 8 hour charge to get another third of the way down the road on way to my next 8 hour charge.
What a bunch on ridiculous nonsense. I’m good.

extended range version starts in the mid-$50,000s and can go about 300 miles.
frick that. I get better range in a gas powered truck for the same price point.

Does it come with a passenger steering wheel

Does it come with 2 steering wheels like Biden’s? Oatmeal brain trim.

Nope, I like my gas vehicle.

My next vehicle will definitely be electric. Probably in the next 3-5 years for sure.
