Will the world ever see a company as large as the Dutch East India Company again?

it was as much an independent political organization as it was a mercantile one.
you’d be more accurate comparing that 7.9T to the GDP of a nation, not the revenues of modern corporations

I think whatever company develops the tech to mine asteroids might be the next to approach its size.

AOC will see to it that no company can prosper.

I don’t see Pornhub on your list. How are they not the biggest company in America?

We'll see it again, and in spades much greater. We still have space to explore.

This. SpaceX, NASA, Blue Horizon, and Boeing have this goal in mind no doubt. Within 50 years the tech will be perfected and much more affordable. We need a base on the moon within a decade as a launch and resupply point for asteroid mining expeditions. Mars will be next due to its proximity to the asteroid belt. Baby steps. And it may not be people going out and doing this. AI and robotics would likely come into play here.

Unless Disney forms it's own military and starts invading other countries I'm going to side with no

They are involved with the NASA SLS.
Lots of activity at Michoud in NOLA East. Also, rocket testing at Stennis. Space industry is alive in our area.
Just cause their commercial aviation division is hurting doesn’t mean the whole company is shite.

I’ve never seen this.
Just because it’s 2 years old makes it bad, false material?
