I agree. Peer pressure used to help enforce morals when other teens still exhibited some. Peer pressure in our society works against a moral code.

It’s a really bad time for raising kids. You have to be diligent and really involved with your kids without becoming too intrusive and then they push you away.

My daughter was really good in school and involved with church. She just thought she knew better. Now, she realizes just how stupid she was back then. But at the time, she wouldn’t listen to anyone.

We spent hours in counseling. She just wouldn’t accept that her way wasn’t what was best for her in the long run.

At least we don’t have the dominant countries and governments burning people alive based on religious views, or have a crazy couple of countries trying to wipe full races of people off the map

Go back to the 1000s or 1300s etc etc and see just how great their morals were

I'm not a Christian, buddy.

Was just joking anyway, I don't advocate for genocide or religious persecution.

There is a reason God says to save sex for marriage. I have a lot of respect for people that follow through with that.

Not exactly a bragging point, Chester.

It's cute when your wife talks about my balls...a bit uncomfortable when you do. But I'll take it.

Hope you guys had a great first Christmas with B.

I think there’s a difference between long term monogamous couples getting pregnant and someone getting knocked up in a one night stand.

I love my wife and my daughter but would be just as happy if we didn’t have to get married.

All the posters on this board crying about the old times just wish they could go back to having their wife sit at home with the kids while they smashed their secretary on the side, fake moral outrage.

Look if any woman/girl gets pregnant out of wedlock and brags about it there’s no hope for them. Hell I have seen where the parents post it all over social media that their 18 year old daughter got knocked up right after graduating. No plans for the future and if she did have any they are gone now. Time for her to get fat and complain about how stressful being a stay at home mom is.

My college roommates daughter just had a baby out of wedlock. The couple is not married and I don’t know if they plan on getting married. Sad, seems the norm now

Not unless our government stops rewarding those that do.

Considering 50% of marriages end in divorce, I would say the rule is pretty true that kids grow up in a home with miserable parents

The divorce rate for marriages with children is significantly lower than for marriages without children.

While you aren’t wrong, the result of the current behavior is a significant everincreasing gap between the societal elites and everyone else.

SFP often discusses this. Elites will often fight for the masses to not feel ashamed of a lifestyle that elite women would never consider partaking in.

I would bet my entire existence it isn’t due to the parents being any less miserable
