I started a similar thread, discussing the effects of a failing Baton Rouge on the future of LSU and it was wacked.

White knighting for Broome? SMDH.

Probably because it had a terrible thread title, was on the wrong board, or was just a bad thread with misinformation.

Lol if you think deleting the thread was white knighting for a terrible Mayor.

Jackson, MS in 1990 had a white mayor and about 50% of the population was white. By 2000, the mayor was black and the population was 25% white. Change comes at you fast.

The inevitable passing of St. George is going to rape Baton Rouge. #metoo

The difference is St. George is in EBR.

Madison/Ridgeland isn’t in Hinds County.

Another big difference is the school system is already established here. Usually a downfall in a city occurs because of schools. The private schools and magnet schools are already set here. The public schools are already bad. So, anyone that goes to private or magnet will not leave town.

Jackson has a lower murder rate than BR.

New Jackson Mayor has had a ton of roads in the downtown area complete resurfaced.

Yes, he made a huge snafoo hiring the old S&WB guy.

But what's your gripe with Jackson, baw?

As Michael Corleone said, "If we learn anything from history, if history teaches us anything, it's that Jackson is BR in 20 years"

Eventually the only white pockets will be upscale places near LSU and a couple of hipster/homo areas. Middle class whites will be gone.

Good call. I've been gone for most of a year now. Happy with the decision, kid loves the non BR school, and I think my dick got a little bigger.
