Will baton Rouge become worse than Jackson?

I mean when you look at the current all star lineup of leadership there, I dont see how they cant.

There's only one way to save it... We gotta get Kip to run again. He's sat out a term. Run him for three more and we can enjoy another 12 years of growth. It might take him 2 years or so to fix SWB's abominations but if anybody can do it, he can.

I saw him in a restaurant the other day, still working the room like he runs it. He has to miss being Mayor and BR is doomed, i.e. "Broomed" without him.

I didn't want Chokwe Jr to win but I will say after he was elected police presence has increased in Jackson significantly.

ETA: And Jackson doesn't have nearly the "social activists" Baton Rouge does.

I’ve never donated to a major political campaign. But Kip will be getting $$$ from me if he runs again.

Saw him last month. Told him we missed him downtown and he just smiled.
