Driver was either full of shite, or that was a hit. Burglars don’t sneak into homes with pigs sniffing around, immediately walk to the bedroom, and open fire on people in their bed. That’s fricking insane

Maybe he knew of some valuables in the home and went in there with the intention of murdering the couple and stealing the valuables. Maybe they have a contractor at the house that told a friend about something he saw that is worth a lot. Or maybe he was just a tweaker. They do unexplainable shite.

Who knows.

So do a bunch of illegals. Are we now considering them Americans by this standard?

Maybe the guy’s story is completely legitimate, but someone performing a job that relies mostly on tips telling a sob story to a customer naturally raises a little suspicion.

Did he explain why he didn't have insurance? Our system is fricked, but you need insurance.

He didn’t and I didn’t feel it was appropriate to ask him.

His wife was a professor at UTSA he said. I doubt he “needed” the money as much as it was something to do to keep busy and have some side cash.

Said his wife asked him if they were going to move and he said no he’s not letting that guy chase him from his house

Wonder why he didn’t have any insurance (based on what you said about the area, assuming he could afford it and maybe drives Uber to give him something to do).

In any event, this is the type of person that a Go Fund Me should be set up for — I’m sure the perp has one.

At least he put that POS on a t-shirt now

F that safe for your protection piece bullshite. Stupidest weak shite there is. Teach your kids to stay out of your shite. If you can't keep something handy due to fear of your children then you are a bad parent.

One of the biggest weak concessions this generation has made. I didn't have a single family/friend home that didn't have at least a shotgun in the corner somewhere.

And thugs will definitely got to go shopping where the money (where the honkies) at. "Across the tracks". Glad to hear he survived a killed that POS. Really sux about the med bills...I guess at that point just send in 25 bucks a month and ride it out. Nothing else to do as that's never getting paid back.

I bet you believe every crazy story that the Uber drivers have. Don’t you? It’s so common that I think it’s part of the job application process.

As someone who has driven rideshare on the side with a 4.99 rating for well over a year now, let me promise you, you're in the minority.

I always use the beginning of the ride to see if the passengers want to talk or not and I would say only like 20-25% of my passengers don't want to talk at all.

The majority want to launch into conversation, whether I'm in the mood or not. Plenty also love hearing my life story too, which gets really tiring to repeat over and over again.

How old was he? At some point I’d assume he would have Medicare. Unless he’s not a citizen, as you said he was British.

His wife was a professor at UTSA

And he did not have insurance as a married person..or he did not have catastrophic insurance through govt.. and he is on hook for 250 k which he will not pay and hospital get stuck and our premiums go up..

This sounds like so much bs and the guy sounds like he is what is wrong with the country also..

So an Uber driver who, you admit was weird, starts pulling up his shorts to expose more thigh and says, "Let me show you something" .......and you looked?!?
