Me too! But only because I dropped my damn gas cap and it rolled under the car. I was trying to shimmy and grab it without getting my cargo shorts dirty. Ended up having to move the damn car.

I was wondering that too. You normally don't see that clientele on that side of Jackson, not like that anyways. Maybe they were partying at bootleggers or bayview and needed some gas

Alexandria is a special type of Louisiana shithole

Has all the shitty aspects of places like NOLA, BR, and ShreveVegas, and none of the redeeming qualities

Nah, they should just set a perimeter and let survival of the fittest work itself out.

did Bayview go dark? that used to be mine and my wife's spot when we were dating since she lived in those apartments across the street

that was only like 12 years ago and it was more "bawish" than dark then

Color me surprised.........back in the early 80s, before we could get into bars, we hung out all down Jackson Street Ext. Met a lot of cool people and girls. We would go to concerts at Rapides Colosseum. It didn't look anything like this!! I guess just like every where else, they destroy it.

Just a few people getting together to get fresh Shipley donuts when they open and be first in the door at Calvary for Sunday service.

I know the message on the video say Jackson Street but that looks more like the Wendy's over by North Mall.

Yes, Ellick is a shite hole but 24 hours a day, not just after midnight. It will not shock me if Lowe's and some of the other chains don't pull out of that area within a few years.

They’ve made it illegal for cops to do that here. They’ve also made it illegal for cops to pursue people on foot. It’s almost like the destruction is intentional

quote:

CHICAGO — Chicago police officers will no longer be allowed to chase people on foot simply because they run away or they've committed minor offenses, the department said Tuesday, more than a year after two foot pursuits ended with officers fatally shooting a 13-year-old boy and 22-year-old man.
