My wife legally kept all of her names. It's a pain in the arse with passports, forms, drivers license, etc.

Pics? And based on those, I reserve the right to ask a follow-up on some other things that she does.

TIA

My mom (no pics) does.

Of course, it probably helped that she was never given a middle name by her parents.

My wife did this. Dropped her middle name and uses her maiden name as her middle name

My wife did not. She has no attachment to her maiden name. Her maiden name is the last name of her mother's second husband, who is not my wife's father. Luckily she got out of the trailer park.

Her middle name is her grandmother's name so she chose to keep that instead.

She can use all the names but only the 3 on her social security card are her legal name per the government.

I assumed all women did this. Maybe it’s just from growing up in the south. My wife did it, but she hated her middle name. My daughter will keep her middle name and not change it to Jones.

I remember women signing their names “Mrs. ———- Jones

I’ve never heard of this happening before, and don’t know a single person that’s done this. Every married woman I know has just changed their last name. Is this just some random coonass thing?

Thought it was common. Then again, I don’t know the middle name of most people
