I'm out in the backyard on my 6th vodka soda burning stuff in the fire pit and listening to music. I keep trying to get her to come hang out, but I'm getting told I drink too much. She's lost all sense of fun

Are we married to the same person? Only my drink of choice is bourbon.

Drinking alone is the #1 sign. Who wants to do that?

I’m 3 pages late, but I wanted to chime in and say this is one of my favorite things to do. I’m around people, literally trapped with them if I’m working, all day long nearly every day. Drinking by myself is amazing.

Just prove to her you are not a alcoholic, give up drinking for a month, if you can’t do that she may have a valid concern.

Can you have fun without drinking? If not, you have your answer.

Sounds like you two use to enjoy that together. Sucks when it changes and couples almost always do after time.

You need to play her George Thorogood's song "If You Don't Start Drinking, I'm Going to Leave"

I always love the drunken fools that are never without their Yeti of booze. So sneaky, nobody has any clue that it isn’t water.

Whenever I think I drink too much at 10-12/week the OT never fails to make me realize I’m a lightweight.
