I spent most of my time in Douala and along the coast. If the rest is like that I wouldn't want to be stuck there.

Douala is the biggest city and the worst IMO. Yaounde is a little better. Limbe and Kribi aren't bad little beach towns.

We were advised not to use them. We were told of stories where it takes many months or even years to get it renewed with the embassy in Washington. It took her less than 2 weeks to renew it there.
