I always had a theory that women being catty, competitive, and territorial all went through a phase where they told their hot friends OMG YES GIRL CHOP IT OFF.. knowing it would look worse.

Doesn't matter who it is. 99% of the time the woman will look better with long hair.
But at the end of the day, women don't dress, or do their hair or makeup to impress men, they do it to impress other women.

College GF had the Victoria Beckham cut. She was hot, but first time she blew me it was a bit alarming grabbing the back of her head and not getting much hair, but like most things, I adapted.

Because short hair on women is fricking unattractive. There are a handful that can pull it off, sure, but even in those instances they would still look much better with long hair.
