Ok, then where are the calls from these Gaza citizens to oust Hamas? Last I checked, the citizens support Hamas. The whole situation is a mess, but don’t act like the majority of Gaza citizens are innocent and captives. War is hell, but Hamas did this to their citizens.

They are supporters or new members. In 2021 a poll had 53% of all Palestinians supporting hamas to run palestine. Gaza is usually higher with its support of hamas than palestinians from gaza and the west bank combined. The younger gaza gets the more likely it is to support hamas and terrorism.

2.1 million people against what was estimated as a hamas force numbering 40,000 to 50,000 before current war with Israel.

Israel weakens hamas and takes out leaders, but during a 2 month ceasefire hamas is allowed to regain control of entire strip by the people in gaza.

Jews are native to that land long before the arabs.

Does that really matter anymore? If Native Americans decided to rise up and try to take America back would we not be justified in fighting back? We've been here our whole lives. Who gives a frick who's ancestors lived where? Kinda like asking me to pay reparations today for slavery that was before our lifetimes.

And correct me if I'm wrong because my memory on this is shite but

quote:

After the second war, this land (which belonged to the Ottomans) was gifted to England, who then offered BOTH the Arabs and the Jews their own country. The Arabs said NO, the Jews said yes.

Weren't the British only able to defeat the Ottomans and claim that land because the Arabs agreed to help fight the war in exchange for control over the land? Of course the Arabs would say no if you promised them the land, they fight and help you win the war, only to then tell them sorry you have to share it with the jews.

Add on the fact that the Arabs are not exactly the type of people you want as neighbors and you have Jews who are pissed off and now two nations living on top of each other who cannot possibly coexist

Israel takes shite for killing civilians, and Hamas wins the PR war. Nobody gives Hamas shite for embedding their soldiers with civilians, they just call Jews mass murderers. Rinse and repeat.

To fight this war, and any war they have ever fought or will ever fight, Hamas needs dead children more than anything else.

I don’t have any sympathies based on what their murderers did and how they were cheered at the time.

I do disagree with some of Israel’s tactics lately, however.

Why do they deserve

They don't.

I know its selfish to say, but I don't have sympathy for either side, but that's because it doesn't impact me personally. And I think most people, who it doesn't impact personally, probably feels similar but people have to act like they do because they don't want people to think they are an a-hole. If its in the news.. We are evidently expected to be sympathetic towards it.

Is it horrible for the innocent people? Absolutely. It sucks but I can't do anything about it. Its just life. Things happen. We don't know what will ever happen to us at any given moment. But these people been fighting since Israel was founded in the late 1940s. They will probably still be fighting each other in 3040.

Those people elected Hamas as their government. The voters deserve the repercussions for that decision.

Keep in mind only men vote there. I have no use for those killing innocent females.

It’s not so much much sympathy for them as much as it’s antisemitism. More people just hate the Jews. Baffling.

IMO you have 4 distinct groups, often having nothing in common otherwise, that are pro or at least sympathetic to the denizens of Gaza.

Far right wing (nobody get your panties in a twist if you don't march around chanting The Jews Will Not Replace Us) this ain't you unless you are a closet white supremacists/nationalist)

People that have some religious tenant that involves hating the jews

People that just hate to see innocent people die (some are without question)

People who are contrarians and love/hate people that a group they oppose support

What I find baffling is people that support Russia and the Jews, or Ukraine and the Gazans. Traditionally, they make very odd bedfellows. I see very little logic left in the battle lines drawn today.

There's a whole subculture of losers now, where they all just sort of sympathize with each other because they are losers of some sort: ugly chicks, bums, the stateless, sexual deviants, etc.

They have no country. The Palestinians are nothing but one huge group of refugees. Ask yourself why none of the other Arab countries will allow any Palestinian refugees to even cross their borders. Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon don’t want any part of them. It’s because of the political strife they bring and their culture doesn’t assimilate well. In their view, this is their problem to solve. Other countries are at peace right now with Israel and don’t want to be thought of as siding with terrorists.

Thats not sympathy, that's just loko democrats screaming about something because Trump is in office. If they had sympathy they would travel over there and help them.

They kinda have something the Native Americans don't, the power to take their land back from the Gazans. I'm sure people would cheer on the Native Americans if they had any such power to take their land back from us.

Power goes a long way when you want to reclaim your homeland.
