Less "democrats." The less democrats an area has usually translate into less crime, better schools, and cleanliness.

So it’s our higher Asian population. Who would have guessed it?

Market Square is clean and full of shops/restaurants/bars. Old city is nice too. The people are nice, establishments are clean, and crime is low.

Is it the demographics?

Why are the beaches better in Florida than in Idaho? Is it the location?

Tennessee’s “Baton Rouge” culture is 6 hours away from Knoxville on the opposite end of the state.

The lovely crime statistics graphs…you do know the crime statistics are provided by the local jurisdictions to the NIJ correct? There is very little oversight/audits to ensure information is correct despite what any suit will tell you.

As such, better run departments will be better at ensuring all of their arrest data is entered and places like Baton Rouge…well the annoying people have shown their capabilities.

Pretty simple. Cities/towns that are predominantly white tend to stay pretty clean and have lower crime rate. Cities/towns that are predominantly black typically turn into shells of what they used to be and crime rates soar.

I was born and raised in BR, went to LSU, and my dude went to LSU and lived there for years. We just bought a house in Knoxville a couple of months ago.

Honestly, the cities are very much alike in a lot of ways. It feels familiar in terms of infrastructure, the fact that it's an SEC college town, nightmare traffic, etc. However, I do feel considerably safer than I would in BR.

The scenery and weather are much better here. People are SO nice and accommodating, unless they're blocking the intersection, because apparently everyone here is horrible at driving.

It’s time to talk about the reality that when it comes to LA it’s not just demographic gaps

I know the answer. You know the answer. Everybody knows the answer. But if you say the answer, you will be toast.
