We won't really know for a 1-2 weeks. People catch it and don't immediately go to the hospital, it has to get bad enough for them togo. Deaths lag like 2-4 weeks behind the initial surge. Hopefully the hospitalizations stay low. And if that stays low then the deaths will stay low as well. If we can keep people out of the hospital then I don't care how many cases we have.

Well, we can already take something from the fact previous spikes had similar ramp ups in cases and we're not seeing similar hospitalization numbers to the same case loads as previous.
We know hospitalizations will rise as the case numbers do, but it already appears like it's not to the proportion of previously.
