I just don’t understand why someone can’t be honest about the money they’re pulling in. If ol’ boy got a raise then let’s celebrate. The fact he wants to physically fight means he’s embarrassed.

All she does is brag about how much "they" make now, he just bought a 100k truck and her a 350k home , They took 4 vacations this year. She was fricking the new guy while married to the last one who she had 2 kids with

In a world where it’s normal to ask about someone’s private medical information such as vaccination status, it shouldn’t be.

We live well below our means. This summer at my wife’s family’s vacation in Destin, my wife made the huge mistake of saying we are less than a year from paying off our house.

My mother in law pounced. I told her how much we made. She didn’t believe us so I left it at that. I like it like that.

You never ask someone what they make. If you don’t know this, you don’t need to be in society.

I have a very good idea what a few friends, cousins, and siblings make. You could not tell who makes the most or the least by toys, houses, cars or vacations because we all have different preferences. And some have a lot of debt and some have paid off houses and huge bank accounts/investments. Lifestyles that appear the same often are not. Two people in my circle have trust funds and NO WAY could you pick them out of a line up.

Eta: my point is quit worrying about who has what money

Started asking bro what he makes per year.
Unless you’re his CPA or from the IRS, this question is out of bounds.

He probably doesn't want you to start asking him for loans. Nothing worse than friends or family knowing your loaded/have money and you're constantly the one they go to for help.

He should have beat you with a baseball bat you arrogant shite.

ETA, sounds like there’s a strong possibility you’re able to move your home when you need a different view.

Let's assume this really did happen.

First of all, its not your goddamn business. They are adults, they can do whatever they want with their money and as long as they are not asking you to bail them out or something you don't start questioning them about what they make.

He should have beat your arse. That information that you don't ask.. You need social skills.

He should’ve winked at me and gave me a pound. That’s respect. The fact it’s become all stressful means they ain’t got no money.
