Do more people work on Friday than Monday through Thursday? If anything shouldn't traffic be lighter with so many people leaving work early?

All I know is they need to fix the I-10 W off ramp @ College Drive intersection. All they need to do is make the green light at the double turn lane to get on I-10 E last longer so the queue doesn't back up into the college travel lanes and the aforementioned intersection.

As much bitching about BR traffic as there is on this board why don't we just send a letter to the city council every time you wanna make a thread about it? Probably wouldn't do much but better chance than anything getting fixed from tigerdroppings

It's not just the interstates. It's the back highways too. And not just BR. fricking everywhere.

I sometimes work until 6 pm on Fridays for this reason. If you typically work until 6 pm daily, Friday traffic is actually lighter.

It's well known that most W-2s do absolutely nothing on Friday.

Because it's Baton Rouge...I think someone pays some a-hole to get up early every morning and every afternoon and drive on I-12 hitting their brakes randomly to personally screw with me. The amount of 80 to stop to 80 is just unbelievable, it has to be that way by design.

Off topic, but I've often wondered if there was a reliable and clean public transit system in BR - would most people use it?

I work in Roswell, GA/ Atlanta area...and I find traffic is a lot lighter on fridays & mondays. I think more people work remotely those days.

I find that having a 2.5 mile commute means I don't have to care. I have no idea when traffic is heavier.

More people leave on time instead of working late on Friday.
