They are stupid. Even the “developed” countries can only be considered developed relative to the rest of that shite hole continent.

A lot more direct for you to just say "black power, it's Whitey's fault"

It's an immensely complicated issue... But European colonization and exploitation didn't help.

I need someone to get inside my ductwork to clean it. I hear you're small enough to get in there. Wanna make a quick $20?

This is part of the OP's question...why aren't they more advance to defend themselves from the alleged theft?

I think both parties, the black inhabitants and white colonizers, both play a large role. Neither because of their race.

But then again I don't irrationally hate people based on their skin color to make up for my own intellectual deficiencies

Parts of Africa are one of the fastest developing areas of the world. China is outsourcing to Africa and getting a head start on the rest of the developed world.
Africa isn't developing itself. It never has. The Europeans came in and developed a lot of it. Then the Europeans left and all development came to a grinding halt. Now the Chinese are there doing more development.

I live and work in Africa 6 months out of the year. There are grass and mud huts built by the locals. There are buildings that were built by the French in the 50's and 60's. You can tell almost no new construction has happened since then until just this past year. The Chinese have built a new airport terminal and a new hotel.

I can walk down a dirt street and see a kid sitting next to his grass hut watching videos on YouTube. Think about that. Some kid who's never known electricity or running water in his life watching Fortnite videos on a smart phone built by the Chinese running on a Chinese built cell network. Craziness.

Not at all.

That’s legit an IQ thing and genetic thing. The simple fact that no one has the brains to advance a society over 100s of years should explains a ton

Do you really need that to be explained? Once someone has their foot on your neck it's a lot more difficult to fight back.

Europeans were able to create a world power in less time and protect our natural resources.

That's the OP's point...why was it so easy for European countries to colonize the African countries?

The Europeans, the Dutch being the absolute worst, absolutely exploited the frick out of Africa but they certainly didn't "set them back." There was nowhere to set them back to because they were still in the stone age and would still be today if it weren't for European colonization.

The life of the average African is immensely better today because of colonization.

That isn't the point. Re-read the question and understand tenses. Hint. The question wasn't, "200 years ago why wasn't Africa as technologically advanced as Europe?" The question was, "Why hasn't most of Africa developed more than it has?" Please attempt to have a more honest conversation.

I see you're the internet bully and everything must go your way. It's the same answer 200 years ago as it is today...so try and figure it out.

Just because you have a cell phone doesn't mean your life is better if the entirety of said life has been in the middle of civil war and political unrest.
