Africans have an average IQ bordering mental retardation. That means half of Africa is borderline retarded and the other half is even dumber than that.

You’re right, colonization wasn’t a net positive for Africa.

Especially considering that anywhere the Europeans explored and stayed have been vastly improved because of it.

Low IQ.

Poor impulse control.

Poor future orientation.

The Chinese are taking their natural resources, selling or 'gifting' them buildings built by Chinese criminals (deported and controlled inmates) of a tremendously subpar nature, and banking on their development as the next cheap labor pool of the world, and banking. Banking, big time.

Seems the main problem and why they're stuck is unstable govt and corruption.
The strife is still largely tribal with an increasing Muslim extremist bent to it. If it's not tribal or religious then it's the rural versus urban cultures. Most of the militaries are too weak to control their own countryside and prevent any sort of violence. And when they do try to stop it they are normally just as brutal and heavy handed as the bad guys they're trying to stop. That makes the civilian governments appear weak and some general normally turns the army against the country's civilian government and takes control.

All Aid and resources seem to be funneled to the elite.

Most of the aid money and resources go to the actual aid workers themselves. The UN and all the NGOs spend most of the money on themselves. These organizations are filled 20somethings that mostly just want to be able to go back to their friends in the first world and tell they saved some poor african kid. They don't actually give a shite about the africans for the most part.

That’s the exception, not the rule. That’s the rule in Africa.

The golf course between Douala and Limbe still has the old British colonial houses along the course. Then you have Bonanjo in Douala that is all old German colonial houses and where many high ranking military live. You see the remnants of colonialism all across much of Africa and how little development has taken place since.

Listen sport... I know you think you know about Africa because you watched a Vice documentary and maybe read some long winded piece in Esquire or some other queer shite and that you think you're special because you managed to make it out of whatever shite town you're from and move to the super metropolitan city of Dallas. But you really don't know dick.

You're clearly rational on the issue. I've brought valid points to the table, and through your irrational hatred for black people you have to. Yet you are the only one throwing a tantrum and name calling like a child who got chicken nuggets instead of fish sticks.

Political instability. When there were stable dictatorships or kingdoms in that region was significantly better.

Democracy is an infinitely better system, but the American and European system of sudden invasion and implementation and quick exit has quite clearly been a failure.

This isn't exclusive to Africa or modern times. It's pretty universal throughout history

Oh look, it's the old "I don't have anyway to refute your points so I'll call him a racist" line. Again, link me a post that even hints at hatred of black people.
