It is inexpensive and easy to learn how to play. I see a lot of people playing that can no longer move around like playing tennis or racquetball. I was playing it a little a few years ago but it has become too crowded and I don't want to sit around for a long time to play a simple game.

It’s tennis for people too out of shape to play tennis or don’t have enough hand and eye coordination.

I don't know much about it, but my best friend plays it competitively and is currently in the process of building a new house with a pickleball court on his land

Pickleball is the sport of the present and future. The USTA is shaking in their boots.

We do that pretty much every day. We have to figure out what to do with the other 23.9 hours in a day.

No it's not. It's just an easy game to play when older and doesn't require much space. It's a good time, in my opinion.

Yup, and folks are being active. Crazy how a lot of this board likes to shite on fat people then the next day they'll shite on people being active because they think it's hipster.

FYI, tennis added more players last year than the total number of pickleball players.

Well, and it’s also pretty fun. I prefer tennis still, but see the appeal of pickle ball, especially for older ex-tennis players.

I get a kick out of seeing a well played spin drop shot. Like a big ping pong table really.

As long as everybody gets a participation trophy and is masked up I don't have a problem with it.
