You can get anything in the north you can get in the South.
Maybe you could cook it yourself if you had the right ingredients and knew what you were doing
I doubt I could drive in a 30 mile radius and buy boudin, cracklins, turtle sauce picante, good BBQ, crawfish etoufee, boiled crawfish, and a rice and gravy plate lunch
Probably would have trouble in some places getting wild duck or going to a store and buying a whole garfish to cook in a gravy

At a local store, yeah, but you can order just about anything online.

Most educated adults in other regions of the country know that drinking sugar water is bad for you and will make you fat.
southern people aren't usually that smart, or even care about being fat.

i'd take a nice cold glass of lemonade over tea of any kind any day.

Same can be said for northern food in the south. I have yet to find a place that serves a good clam chowder or Chicago style deep dish pizza.

If you want some sweet, get the Snapple diet half and half.
Yeah ok. According to the maps SFP posted, Michigan looks about the same as Georgia, Arkansas and Tennessee

I'm from New Orleans and never grew up drinking it or around anyone that did.
It's not good + one of its components induces nausea, so many other options. shite's dirt water

I must have read it wrong. I took it as bragging how you can't get southern food anywhere else, which is true about most regional food.
After re-reading I agree with you 100% outside of the wild duck, which from my experience is pretty easy to find in the Midwest

Sad that not one State is below the 20-24.9% range.

A couple of times I went to a restaurant that didn’t serve sweet tea, just unsweet tea, and I looked at the waiters like they had 2 heads.

I grew up on sweet tea, but these days I don't like it sweetened with sugar. It's like it's too heavy with real sugar.
