you can do this with all sorts of things

smoking:

HIV:

divorce:

teen pregnancy:

incarceration rates

it's the underclass (before anyone says it's a race thing). this is why the south lags behind in many areas of study. hell this is why the US lags behind other countries in many areas of study.

Makes one consider a move to New England, Colorado or Minnesota based on the empirical data.

Sweet tea is gross. It’s too damn sweet.I don’t need to drink half a cup of sugar every time I take a sip.

It's so sweet you can use a couple splashes to sweeten a glass of unsweet tea

Every Yankee I talk to says sweet tea is disgusting.
I'm originally from New Hampshire and spent my young childhood there. Lived on the west coast and then Texas for a little while before moving to Tennessee for high school. Sweet tea was definitely not a thing in our family before moving to the south, but everyone in my family likes sweet tea now.

I don't know many northerners who actually dislike sweet tea. It's just not something that's served. It also takes some getting used to because most people are accustomed to determining how sweet they want their tea, similar to coffee.

every once in a blue moon at a restaurant they'll bring me sweet tea on accident and i'll try this experiment

like a small portion of sweet tea DOMINATES the entire glass

Sweat tea is for people who like sugar, not necessarily tea. Divorce yourself from sugar for a week or so, and then come back and try some of that sweat tea and you’ll get it. It’s absurd.

Truth. I found something similar when I stopped eating McDonalds many years ago and then tried it again after being away from it for a long time. Very unappealing and odd tasting, not to mention very sugary and Uber salty.

I think so many sweet teas border more on a tea infused simple syrup than just tea though.
