Jackson is a shitehole, there’s no 2 ways about it. In my line of work I get job opportunities from all over, the most come from areas no one wants to work. Pine bluff, Jackson, are a couple areas where jobs are there all the time, every week get emails for jobs, cause no one wants to even set foot in those towns...

Jackson sucks. I lived in Madison for two years and it’s nice. Only reason I went in to Jackson was to eat at walkers. That place is fantastic

Jackson used to be such a cool place, especially East of I-55 up into Madison County up to Ross Barnett. Buffalo Village and north park were really nice areas.

I lived in Jackson for a year in college. It is pretty depressing. There are areas that are cool and have potential but overall it’s sad. Infrastructure is a joke and leadership has been poor.
