mental health problems are a serious issue that the government needs to focus more on.

Round them up then, in the middle of the night, drop them off in Tuscaloosa or Gainesville.

Back in 1996 before the Olympics the Atlanta city cops took all the homeless people and rounded them up and dumped them in Dekalb county and told them they'd beat their asses if they came back in fulton county before the olympics was over.

Shoulda kept that in place IMHO. worked great.

If we are talking about BR, the city would be a ghost town if they all left.

i heard from a couple sources that ATL offered homeless people one way greyhound tickets to Nola telling them there was a plethora of construction jobs shortly after Katrina.

Most ppl in the US have less than $1,000 in the bank...they are one unexpected crisis away from homelessness.

Be thankful most of you have a family to get you thru tough times. Not everyone has that.

Thread reads like majority wants to criminalize homelessness? Dark hearts.

It amazes me how many ignorant fricktards think that all homeless people are homeless because they are simply too lazy to work, completly disregarding the amount of mental health problems those people have.

The question is, where were these people 10 years ago, and why do we have this sudden proliferation of this shite?

Some people can't help it, others have just realized they don't have to do shite and can get by.

Drive around the areas they are hanging out around lunch. The churches will have several kitchens open.

What do you do? Arrest them and have them live off your taxes in prison?

Cheaper to just let them be.

Wanting it done with magic money precludes the claim of a working brain.
