Most of the Mexicans that come to the US illegally are from poor rural areas, which have mostly indigenous blood. The Mexican's that have thousands of dollars to spend on a soccer match mostly come from metro areas like Mexico city has more European blood in the pool.

Because the rich people in Mexico are mostly directly descended from Europeans and are pretty white

The ones coming here illegally tend to be descended more from indigenous folks and are of lower IQ

Mexico was settled differently than the US. The Spanish didn't bring many of their women with them to Mexico. The US settlers did. So the Spanish conquerors/soldiers copulated with a lot of the native women. Hence the melting pot of races in Mexico now. The 5 ft tall people you see in the US are the descendants of the native population of Central America. Probably no European blood in them. Venezuelans and Columbians look more "Spanish" to me than most Mexicans.

Better question. How did the World's most wrist slitting worthy, incredibly boring, "Nil NIL " sport become the World's most popular sport?

McDonald's sells far and away more hamburgers than anyone else in the world too. But they are nasty arse, grease flipped yuck. I can rattle off dozens of burger chains that are far better hamburgers that McDonald's . If it wasn't for their amazing French fries, doubt they'd still even be a viable franchise. So there's no accounting for discernment and taste, especially by the masses.
