Why do some guys shave their balls?

I don't really give a crap what anyone else decides to do with their body, especially guys, but why the hell does someone think they need to shave their balls? Our society's fear of body hair is ridiculous.

When you sweat a lot the sweat can get caught up in your hair with all that curly pubic hair so if you keep it cut clean it helps to make sure they don't smell.
